DHN Reis | Beautiful Dun Highland Heifer | AHCA Registration Pending **Dalkena Highlands | Newport, Washington** Meet DHN Reis, a gorgeous dun Highland heifer with beautiful coloring, an appealing pedigree, and a personality that's already showing some of the qualities we love most about her mother! Reis is one of those young females who catches your eye, but it's her combination of genetics and developing temperament that makes her especially exciting. **Sire: KHH Bruce (D), AHCA #67,082** Bruce is a registered dun Highland bull with pedigree lines including Lone Spring Fergusson, FairviewVly Braveheart, Findley of Maple K, Oda of Sleat, Flatheads Glen Elgin, and Double LL Gillium. **Dam: Swalanders Luna, AHCA #60,333** Luna has been one of our most affectionate Highland cows. She's the kind of girl who comes looking for attention, loves being loved on, and has demonstrated wonderful maternal instincts throughout her time with us. Luna's pedigree includes RAM Just Bob, Garden Home Wotan, and Possum Run Siobhan, adding established Highland genetics to Reis's background. And we're already seeing some of Luna's personality in Reis! Reis is curious, friendly, and interested in the world around her. She's still a young heifer developing confidence, but we believe that with time, patience, and consistent handling, she could become something truly special. **Reis is an open heifer and has not been exposed to a bull.** Both parents are AHCA registered, and Reis's individual AHCA registration is currently pending. As we continue refining our Highland fold at Dalkena Highlands, we're making thoughtful decisions about which genetics and animals best fit our growing beef operation and farm experiences. These aren't easy decisions, especially with young females like Reis, but we're committed to the long-term direction of our program. Reis would be a wonderful prospect for an experienced Highland owner looking for a beautiful dun heifer with registered parentage and a promising, people-oriented disposition. **Located in Newport, Washington. Hauling assistance may be available.** Serious inquiries welcome!
